Our remodel has begun. We are changing the coping and tile, replastering with quartzscapes, restructuring tanning ledge and bench, changing to led lights, and changing the depth of the shallow end. Hope all goes well.

I currently have a Hayward super 2 pump with a ao smith b809 2 hp motor on it. I would like to replace the motor with a 2 speed motor. The pool is 26000 gallons. Do I need a 2 hp motor or can I downsize? Can anyone point me to the correct motor. Thanks

I have a 26500 gal pool that currently has a single speed 2hp AO Smith motor on a hayward super 2 pump running only a 60 sq de filter. The pump seems to be on its last leg. Looking at replacing with a 2 speed but have no idea what size to replace it with. Thanks in advance.
