New (2.5 weeks) pool. I’ve run the robot 3x since I got it Wednesday. Each time I get a significant amount of material. Looks like sand. Could it be plaster dust or is my sand filter putting out sand? Is it normal? Diamond Brite plaster if it matters.

Curious about CYA ratio. It was 150+. Drained about a 3rd of the pool and it was 100. I did a reduced CYA test (half tap/half pool water). It was in the 30-50 “ideal” range of the test strip. So does that mean I need to drain half the pool to get it in ideal range.
