I want to backwash my Jandy DE filter. I bought a 2” backwash hose and clamp. The outflow from the filter is 2 1/2” in outside diameter and I’m unable to stretch the hose to fit. Is there a way to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

We have a new Pebble Tec lap pool. It’s 30x10 ft. I’m trying to determine when it can be heated. I’ve gotten different suggestions from the builder and 2 pool maintenance people. The options range from 3-6 weeks from when the Pebble Tec was installed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
