Once u get ur TA, PH, AND CH within range, do all u need to do then is just manage ur FC? What I am trying to say is do things eventually balance out so that u are not decreasing PH, raising TA......

When the app says add 2 quarts by volume of chlorine, does this mean only 2 quarts or does the "by volume" mean I need to multiply something?

I was told today by the pool store that using pool perfect could help lower your chlorine usage. Is that true? Dude said that you don't have to add as much chlorine overtime.

Why does the pool store say keep your clorine levels at 3 and shock once a week? What is the point of shocking if your clorine is in the good zone???

Another question, is it ok to use tablets to get both FC and CYA levels up??? I can get stabilizer but if the tabs help me I would prefer that until I can get a handle on things....would it be quicker to use them to get CYA up or the granules???
