    Clear hose hayward filter/pump

    I have misplaced a couple hoses. They were thick and almost clear and went from the filter down to the pump. Do I have to use the same type of hose or can I use any pool hose? I have Hayward sand filter s180t and Hayward Power flo LX pump sp1580z.
