Welcome aboard, :wave: I was going to suggest using a 5 gallon bucket, half pool half tap as a quick and dirt test. Makes sence as an alternative to a complete refill and a higher water bill$$. Use the water at BBB test depth :) Good Luck Kirk :cheers:

Welcome aboard wbrown75 Sounds to me like you need to pressure wash the interior for sure. Then you to realize all the insides pool plumbing lines, filter, valves, weirs, eyeball jets, return line etc. heater if you have one, are coated with algae,you'll need get rid of it with some...

Thanks Bob, I have lots of links (over 40 hours of research on new pool construction ) from plaster to decking to gunite be glad to asnswer any questions you have :) . My pool is ready for plaster, we're going with Quartzscape tahoe blue. And Sundeck Classic texture for decking finish...
