Another problem that I have is staining. We battle this every year. It clears with ascorbic acid. Do I need to treat this before slamming?

We have had a FG pool for several years and have trouble keeping chemicals balanced. Thought we would try this method this year. Hope it works. I am trying to learn as much as I can.
