    Spillover rocks leak?

There is a concrete seam between 2 of the rocks at the top. The water comes out at the bottom of that seam

    Spillover rocks leak?

It does. Water level drops just below the rock level. End up even with the bottom of the tile line.

    Spillover rocks leak?

Had our PB out to go over some issues, one of which is a couple of leaks under the spillover rocks. He did some additional work in the spa under the rocks and declared it fixed. It still leaks out of the front. He came back and said that the leaks are coming through the rocks and can't be...

Saw cut vs bullnose bluestone coping, need help/opinions

We went with the square edge. No one has ever mentioned it being sharp however it can discolor. Some of ours are little darker blue where others are lighter and have rust spots and stains on them. Hopefully you can be involved in selecting the stones or at least be there to decide which stones...

    New build - Buffalo NY

You might want to consider holding off on the finish until spring. Gives the gunite all winter to cure and gives you a full season to balance ph and take care of it.

    Blue Stone Coping is stained

Our coping has picked up a few stains this summer (new pool). I'm thinking its either from the bleach that I used to chlorinate before the SWG was turned on or its from the Acid that I add to keep PH in check. Has anyone else had this issue and do you have any idea on how to clean it?

    New build - Buffalo NY

Good news. Stay on them. I wish I had found this forum before I started the process. A lot of thing would have been done differently. The good news for us is that there is well maintained water in the pool and the wife and kids are using it. :splash:

    New build - Buffalo NY

Our shell was built last November, finish applied this April and water a few days later. The landscaping rocks were just laid last week, we still have a leak from the front of our spa and we still don't have our jump rock installed. Some stories are good, some are nightmares.....

    Rio Olympics Algae

It's really ridiculous that the IOC would allow that to happen. All they had to do was post some numbers here and we all could have helped.

    FC is Climbing

I think that is what's happening. I just called home again and the pump was off. I had changed it yesterday to turn off at 5 instead of 7. I think the SWG will reduce its output tomorrow. Ill leave it plugged in tonight and then will look at it tomorrow. Thanks for the help. Ill update with...

    FC is Climbing

Not sure. I changed the running hours from 6-9 to 6-5 yesterday morning but when I came home at 7 the pump was still running. I turned it off manually. This morning it was running again when I looked out the window at 7 am. Does it take a day for changes to take effect? When I dropped the SWG...

    FC is Climbing

2 weeks ago when I did my weekly test my FC had climbed from 8 (where it has been all summer) to 11.5. I reduced my percentage on the SWG from 68 to 55. Last Sunday it was 11.5. Today it was 14.5. I reduced the SWG to 35% this morning. It is a new pool (filled early May). What could be causing...

    Know a good Lawyer?

Already started that. Pool company fixed the SWG to the tune of $280.00 and he knows I'm deducting that. I told him yesterday that I would seek bids to finish job and he is OK with that. What bothers me the most is that he just doesn't seem to care. He collected 92% of his fees at this point...

    Know a good Lawyer?

Thanks for the link pooldv. My numbers are great thanks to this site and all of you great folks here. My problem was that after the pool was filled he sent me an email telling me to watch my PH and TA without any startup chemicals or instructions on how to do that. It was a week before I...

    Know a good Lawyer?

Update.. Had pool place come out. Turns out the SWG was never wired to panel. Works like a charm though I am still learning how the panel works. PB has still not come back to finish the pool. We sent him a certified letter with a proposed finish date (this Friday) and he has informed us that...
