    Coverstar WiFi touchpad registration problem

I got my cover installed with the numeric touchpad without wifi. I want to upgrade to the wifi model to know when the cover was closed or opened, who did it and if it was left open for too long. I don't have any water features, so I'm OK there. This is mainly for safety for kids. I'm also...

Indoor residential inground gunite pool renovation - replaster and all new equipment

Observations and concerns so far: 1. Water level reduced by 1 inch in about 24 hours. I'm not sure if this is an artifact of new pool start up or this is a cause for concern. I topped up the water today and I'll see tomorrow. 2. Lunaquartz - martinique looked like a white base with small blue...

Indoor residential inground gunite pool renovation - replaster and all new equipment

Thanks to the excellent advice I received from this forum members, I've filled up my renovated indoor pool in my house. Pool size 15ft x 30ft x (3.5 to 4.5ft) = just under 12,000 gallon US (45 kL). When we bought the house, the previous owners left it in a state of disrepair. The plaster was...

Need advice and questions about a residential indoor pool

Great! Is it easy to set up IntelliChem to only control pH, and set up IntelliChlor to run open loop without using ORP readings for chlorine generation (all with IntelliCenter)?

Need advice and questions about a residential indoor pool

So both SWG and Stenner pump (for acid) will run on timers? I will not have an intellichem at all for the SWG either? Thank you.

Need advice and questions about a residential indoor pool

Are you and other folks recommending against Intellichem due to the issues with the pH or ORP sensor or are there other reasons too? I'm trying to understand if there are ways to avoid issues with Intellichem (I'm savvy with both electronics and chemistry) or is it a lost cause.

Need advice and questions about a residential indoor pool

I'm not sure if the Pentair phone support person was correct. I'll call Polytec pools. Update: I called Polytec. They didn't know and didn't have the installation manual. They asked me to contact Pentair.

Need advice and questions about a residential indoor pool

I called Pentair and asked about an installation manual for the IntelliCenter pool cover expansion module. They said a PDF version is not available. They also said that this module allows one to open or close the pool and it requires low voltage wires to the cover motor. It's a shame that the...

Need advice and questions about a residential indoor pool

Thanks! Do you know how the pool cover sensor communciates with the Intellicenter pool cover expansion module? Does it need to be wired or is it wireless? Hardwiring the pool cover sensor to the intellicenter (pool cover expansion module) can be an issue, so I'm trying to understand if there's a...

Need advice and questions about a residential indoor pool

Thanks for the info. If it costs a lot to replace it, then I might just close it out. I guess I'd have to maintain the water level above the skimmer then.

Need advice and questions about a residential indoor pool

Thanks for the pointer. I'll read this up and I'll do what's safe and code compliant. I'll appreciate any comments from those who know about this. When I spoke to the pool contractor, I asked him about keeping the existing switch and he said that would be OK and he said I can put a lock around...

    New indoor pool

I have an indoor pool too. Three of the walls are cedar wood. The fourth side and ceiling are painted. The ceiling had moisture damage and peeling from before. So, my drywall/paint guy found a primer and paint rated for such harsh environments. He used Sherwin Williams ProMar 200 Primer and...
