    Wanted to view your build after you commented on mine. Matthew was tough here also. Your pool and landscaping look great. I like how the water matches the pool house doors, umbrela, and pillows. Did you plant the windmill palms yourself?

    Did you use a drain where the deck meets the house? I'm trying to decide on what type to use on my build. my deck butts up against the brick, so the mortar gaps present a problem.

    Thanks for all the compliments :salut: The builder does everything except the electrical. He's onsite all day, every day. operates the track hoe/backhoe. lifetime guarantee on the deck not cracking. extra thick vermiculite, 30 yrs experience.

    Just one, 3 years old. We are very excited to have a pool once again. I stumbled upon the BBB method years ago just before this site opened. There was another site and the owner kinda went awol. This site has really grown into a nice place.:cool:

This is my second pool, previous pool was 28000 gallons from the same builder, Hewitt Pools, highly recommend him if you are in the area.     We will be moving the screen door and steps to this side of the porch. More deck area and be able to fence off the pool from the door.

    Pool man had to dig deeper and wider than planned to clear the debris. Then back filled with a load and a half of rock. This was the end of the first day. Hopefully when I get home today the walls will be up and the footing poured, it's supposed to rain tomorrow.:D

    Ran into some trouble with trees that the home builder just covered up with fill dirt. You can see part of one on the dirt pile that they had to cut with a chainsaw. :(
