I did CYA test again since water had become room temp. and it's still low. Adding granular now.

Yes I knew they did but wasn't sure if I should just use the granular to get it in there the quickest so I could start to shock. Oh and did I mess up on the CC and CYA test? I watched YouTube videos for help.

When I have shocked in the past, the stuff turns white/gray. It wouldn't change colors if it were pollen/dust...would it???

I received my kit yesterday, and I read over it to get familiar with it. It's raining buckets here today, but I figured if it lets up a little, I will check my cya today since I vacuumed to waste a few days ago. No rain in the forecast for the next several days. I think I'll start shocking...

Thanks to everyone for the help! I'll follow up once my kit arrives. Just ordered 0871 and 0013, couldn't find the 0013(CYA) in 8 oz. Will a 2 oz. be enough for now?
