Quarantine Christmas Pool Build - ATX - Intellicenter - System Reset?

Thank you @colleenbevans and @HermanTX -- this is very helpful! I found the following info on the Pebbletec website. No mention of how long the 'curing time' typically lasts. I'll definitely discuss with the PB. DO NOT fill your pool with soft water. If any of your outside hose bibs are soft...

Quarantine Christmas Pool Build - ATX - Intellicenter - System Reset?

FINALLY scheduled for pebblesheen next Tues, May 18!. Fingers crossed that the rain will keep moving out of the forecast. Assuming they are able to plaster on the 18th, should we be good to host a party on May 30? Daughter is graduating from high school and wants to have a graduation...

Test kit arrived today and who knew it came in such a cute case?! Now I just have to figure out what to do with it! Question: I need some testing strips too, right? I assumed they came in the set, but I was mistaken.

Quarantine Christmas Pool Build - ATX - Intellicenter - System Reset?

Getting down to the end..finally! We've asked our builder to seal our stone. Originally our designer recommended DryTreat 40sk if we were going to do it ourselves. The builder said they've recently been using MiraGard Dry Look Sealer and have been very happy with it, but they would use whichever...

My "New" Pool in SCHERTZ, TX

That's good to know. They are the ones that our builder typically uses but it sounds like they are pretty backed up right now. So we're going to need to decide whether to wait for MMG or go with the other authorized installer near Austin

Finishing up west of Austin *Plastered and Filled*

You were able to find valves?? We're in Austin as well and have not been able to locate any..PB came out last night and said he's afraid it might be May before they can get them but I'm hoping he's giving me worst case scenario. We have equipment set, electricity run, and just need those valves...

Thanks @kimkats! Yes that's exactly what I'm thinking -- no wow factor. Love the decorative tile you've pointed out. If you're thinking 5, how do you envision laying them out? In a line or more scattered? LOVE the idea of a mosaic, too. The link you've included might be too big (center wall is...

Quarantine Christmas Pool Build - ATX - Intellicenter - System Reset?

Hi all, So tile is just about finished and I need some help from all you knowledgable people. This is our first pool so it's hard to envision the final look. For the main sheer descent wall, we chose to go with a porcelain tile (since I learned on here about the challenges of stone under a sheer...

    Best Tanning Ledge Chairs

I've been looking at the same style..did you go with the regular chair or lowback? Are they comfortable? Would love to see a pic if you have one handy. Our shelf will be about 6" deep and I'm trying to figure out if it will cover the seat or not.

Quarantine Christmas Pool Build - ATX - Intellicenter - System Reset?

Coping and tile almost complete! We decided to go with a very neutral waterline tile: Aquabella OD-45. It's off-white, with some shimmery tiles. I LOVE it, and I'm hoping the blue of the water will really make it pop (PS Blue Surf). Stone is Haze ledgerstone and Haze 3x6 (Mastertile):
