    1st quote paver pool patio

So they want $8.60 a square foot for install? Wish I could offer a solution. I just don't understand how pricing works back east. I had regular pavers installed to widen my driveway and it was $5.50 a sq foot including the pavers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Man that is steep. I have about 980 square feet of travertine and paid less than 1/2 that price! East coast is so expensive..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Help with Easytouch and schedules

I am not sure what I'm doing wrong but I just can't get this thing to work. I just want to run the pump for 5 hours at 1400 rpm and for 3 hours at 2400 rpm. I can't seem to get the circuits/features or whatever to function properly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New build in Sierra Vista, AZ ( SE of Tucson 70 miles)

The only thing I see that may be concerning is the distribution valve for the in-floor system needs to be as close to the pool as possible. I believe this is to maintain maximum efficiency. I have not see one plumbed at the equipment pad before. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Who is swimming??

Problem is the nights are still cooling off to low 50's and water looses a lot of heat at night. I'm not gonna complain in any way. We will have plenty of swim days here in AZ coming soon enough. In fact, about sept, we will be tired of 106-110 degree days! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Help with Easytouch and schedules

Thank you very much for your help. I think I have it set up. I have it set to run 1400 rpm from 800p-12a and 2600 rpm 12a-3am. I am hoping this should be good for now. I am sure I will have to add time on the low rpm ( for chlorine) once satan's "breath" takes over Arizona. (110-114 degree days...

    Help with Easytouch and schedules

I will have to check on this... If it's wired through the flow switch it should start automatically if there is enough flow (rpm on pump high enough)? I do not think this is how mine was wired. Once connected it to the easy touch panel I turned on the system and the swg did not turn on with...

    Help with Easytouch and schedules

Hi all, I finally got my SWG fired up. My question is, I cannot figure out how to set multiple schedules. I want the swg to run making chlorine for only 4 hours a day right now. But I want the pump to boost up rpm to run my infloor for 3 hours then take rpm down low for just general filtration...

Drain pebble TEC pool for 4 wks in az summer?

I would not drain pool for that long. Prob void warranty. I seem to remember a line in the warranty that states the owner will keep pool full and balanced. I would just find a pool guy to manage for a month. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Leave pool open or closed for the summer in Arizona?

Sorry to say but the UV system is not going to help much at all. I would not recommend closing a pool in AZ all summer. It should be checked weekly or you could end up with a costly disaster. Is you in line chlorinator a SWG? If so you'll have to monitor salt levels due to evaporation. You will...

What did you do to your pool today?

    New AZ owner build! :)

For your Pentair scree logic , did you hardwire an Internet line to your panel or use the wireless kit? I held off on adding the screen logic because It was going to be a real chore to run an Ethernet to the panel and I heard of problems with the wireless adaptors. I really wish I had the screen...

What was the temperature outside? Pentair easytouch and variable speed pumps have a freeze mode protection. If the panel or pump goes into freeze mode, it cannot be turned off. The panel will display "freeze" on the display Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Reasonable Consultant's Fee for O/B

I used a friend who used to build pools and has shifted to luxury home remodels. He still had all his relationships with the subs etc etc. He handled all the engineering, subs and managed everything throughout the build. I paid him about 8 %. I just had to handle the startup etc.

In floor has to be designed correctly, plans have to be sent to A&A or Paramount for review and head placement. My previous pool had a barracuda which was garbage. Stonescape vs. Pebble-Tec

Pebbletec does have their certified application training and licensing. However, the materials are twice the cost. When I talked to my sub, her told me the pebbles are the same in both products, the stonescapes are $14.00 a bag and Pebbletec is $28.00 a bag. My friend who managed my project has...
