I got a really good one from BJ's. Also got a great skimmer net. It's a heavy duty one. The other 2 i got from the PS did not last long at all.

I don't have a sand filter, but I have seen it suggested that adding a bit of DE to the sand helps with filtering fine particles. It would have to be added again after each backwash, though. Can anyone else chime in on that?

That's a great set up. You did a fantastic job. The only suggestion I have is to put a mat under your ladder so you don't damage the liner getting in and out.
