I go to Leslie's and they find 160 TA in my sample. I test it myself... the water just begins to turn from (blue?) to maybe red at 17 drops, full red as it gets at 19. Adding more R009 won't change the color after 19 drops. So is my measured TA 170 or 190???? tanks

Jes. I opened the strainer lid, rotated it CW 1/4 turn from where it had been while still airborne, re-closed, and it stopped leaking. Kind of silly, eh?

Nope. Voltage fine. It is showing north of 25 volts and 7 amps, both. Panel says 2900 ppm salt.

My Hayward cell notes 25 volts and 5 amps max. My panel is it is drawing +/-7.25 amps. What's this?

Thanks to you all. I simply opened the strainer rotated the closure1/4 turn clockwise and reinstalled. It now works fine. Go figure.

Thanks to you all. Even when I just put it on hopper drain, or just the skimmer (which has less lift than does the hopper drain)... nothing seems to work. I'm with 'yall. It HAS TO BE a leak at the pump basket. mac

My chlorine generator just stopped working again after a ~3 month service interval. It was clearly compromised. I soaked it 4:1 water:HCL FOUR different times over a 24 hour period, and the bubbling was always very active at the addition of a new solution. After the FOURTH soak, 24 hrs later...

I just bought a home with a two year old pool, which apparently was installed by "California Pools." This orifice/cover is on the second step down when entering the pool. Is it suction? Is it return? Water is too cold to wade into! tanks mac
