    Stenner Install

I’ve had mine for almost 2 years and the only thing I’ve done in that time is replace the tube once and that was more a precaution than a necessity. Model number is in my signature.

It seems the more consistent chlorine injection systems use some type of peristaltic pump on a timer. Pump speed has no effect on the delivery rate or quantity.

    Starting with Stenner

My pump is usually running 1000 rpm when the stenner is injecting. The injection rate is .8 oz a min. so even at the lowest speed you should be ok. You will be putting in a little less than 2 oz a minute.

    Use of the Stenner pump

Just like a SWG making the same amount of chlorine every day the pump injects the same amount of chlorine every day. For me I took a average of what I used in 2 weeks and that’s what I add every day ( 31 ozs.). That keeps me within plus or minus 1.5 ppm of my target.

Did I pull the trigger too fast?

Once you know how much chlorine you use a day you can get the pump to inject that amount every day. My chlorinator had a plug in it that matched the stenner pump injector I think it was ½ inch. That’s the black tubing you see running to the chlorinator near the bottom. You can set this to...

Did I pull the trigger too fast?

Here's a picture of my setup. Cost was $198 for the pump $20 for the timer and $11 for the 15 gal barrel. I use about 32 ozs and day. So for me a full barrel can go 40 days or more. I'm the guilty party on the nose comment.

stenner check valve keeps going bad

On the 45mhp10 the max pressure is 100 psi. That's a lot to over come to have back flow because it has to make it by 2 rollers and the duckbill also. How long has it been since you replaced the tube.
