I am one of them. Have left my Intex pools up for 6 years now. (1st one a 15x52 Intex, this one a 20 x48 Pro Series) I make sure I drain it below intake and then winterize and cover.

Where do you buy the aluminum sulfate? I too have well water. Can you also add this to your well to help rid the iron prior to it coming into the house and is it safe to drink?

Check the chlorine you are using and make sure it is REGULAR bleach not scented. I also remember someone mentioning not to use a type of bleach as it some type of thickening agent in it and cause cloudy water.

That looks wonderful! Be very proud especially as it is a pvc job for the first time. Wish I was not so scared to modify mine. I just turn my return nozzle facing up and it fountains up some but not enough to make it beautiful like yours.
