    Good morning. FC - 15 CC - 0 PH - 7.6 TA - 100 CYA - 55 CH - 500 I was waiting for the FC to come into range(9) before adjusting the PH. Correct? Based on Richards post, with the CH at that level I will need to keep the PH and TA at the lower end.

    Okay, tested at 5:00 yesterday evening - FC at 19, CC - 0, CYA - 55 added 3 jugs per PoolMath to bring it up to shock at 22 Tested at 9:00 - FC - 23, CC - .5 Tested at 6:15 - FC - 23, CC - .5 Water is clear. I will let the FC go down to 9 and keep it there. Sound good??

    I checked and agree. Draining 1/2 the pool did drop the CYA significantly but the bleach is too weak. We are getting the stronger bleach today and will SLAM tonight. Just tested and the FC was 8.6, CYA - 60. Thanks for your interest and the information.

    Okay - much appreciate the responses. The dilution test for the CYA = 110 The CH of the fill water is 200. We stopped using the dichlor last week and got rid of the tabs this weekend.
