    How about cutting the copper pipe, unscrew the complete section from the pump, remake the plastic joint to the pump and then rejoin the copper pipe You will need to excavate the ground a bit

    Have you tried just opening skimmer 2 valve just a bit and slowly increasing untill it works correctly (it's balancing as in any heating system)

    If your fill water is 250 CH you won't notice any difference whereas the fill water has no CYA and you will notice a difference

    Being as I don't need much I have been looking on Ebay and have come across food grade Diatomaceous Earth is this the same? The flocculant is removed and a deep clean done on the filter. I have also started the OCLT. My indoor pool has a thermal blanket over it so it should be unaffected by the sun
