Wow! I left the forum on a page and came back and changes!

Personally I don't find it slow. I do however, not like the look of the new posts 'envelopes', as it is truly hard to see the difference. Things like that are very easy to fix by someone who knows how to. Overall, I really like the new look. It is clean, crisp, fresh, and looks up to the...

Prayer request... Christian content, ignore if offended

It is nice to see some fellow Christians here. I will pray for her also. Cancer is an awful thing, and sometimes it hits people who just don't deserve it. She will be in my prayers, I am living proof that collective prayer works, and it is nice that you are looking out for her. I hope people...

You used Wingdings!!!??? (Sorry, dual monitors, and too lazy to edit...)

    OK, here's a down side...

Having two tanks is the best bet that is for sure. Or, having a neighbor who will let you "borrow" their grill, like my parents who live behind me. lol.

Central Michigan AGP and Deck Install

You would definitely want to dig the posts in and concrete the ones that would have the privacy fence attached to them, it may not even hurt to put the ones closer to the pool in line with the fence in concrete too so that you can cross brace to them and have more stability for the wind to...

    AG cover removal

Is the conduit empty? Does it handle the weight well with the cover on it?

    AG cover removal

What size posts? What size conduit. What did you use for a bearing chase? Do you have close up pics of it? I would like something like that, but I would want it to be able to have one side lifted off, and swung over to the fence, then lift off the other side and walk it over there to the...

Central Michigan AGP and Deck Install

I think that it looks great. I really like the way the deck goes over the pool. I would only be concerned with two things with it. The fact that it is connected to your house,(it is isn't it?) and the fact that it goes over your pool (even though I like it). The reason being frost heave...

Garden hose solar heat? would that be a diverted water stream through a black garden hose?

    AG cover removal

I find the solar cover to be a major hassle, and I cannot think of anything I hate more about a pool. Everything else is fine. To me though, the easiest way to get the cover on or off of my AGP is to just get in and fold/unfold it and roll/unroll it. Then I set it on the edge, get out, grab...

Central Michigan AGP and Deck Install

If you are planning on using the deckposts to mount privacy fence on, I would dig them in, and also it may not hurt to upgrade to 6x6 posts, as you will have a 6 foot tall solid fence that stands 9 feet tall (I'm guessing) potentially. That could equate to taking some serious blasts.

    Any Shroomers Out There?

Aaaccck and Blaaarg. Not for me, my wife likes shrooms, but I doubt she would eat wild ones.

How do you use dry shock?

He sounds like a self proclaimed expert. I would never broadcast dry shock unless it was a full moon on an odd numbered day. Duh.

    Happy Mother's Day...

Happy Mothers Day to all the Mothers. And hopefully everyone else has a good day too. Today we are having family over, cooking out, and swimming. Can't beat that, high of 79 degrees here.

Do pavers around pool sink or shift?

You have to cadweld it to metal in your pool I believe. I have done alot of cadwelding wire for cathotic protection on underground fire protection watermains at O'Hare Airport. It makes sense to me, but I didn't do it, seems like a good practice for safety sake. What with your pool not being...

    Above Ground Pool

Good for you for looking in on them. I just bought my pool from a local company about 20 miles away. They have been in business forever, but I installed it (twice I may add, I moved and they did not want it...). But the nice thing about that is that if I need a new skimmer accessory, or...

AGP has Some Ridges Humps, High Spots In it??????

When I put my pool in, the bottom was totally smooth, it is not anymore, I think that you are going to have that. Personally I would not worry about it. See what others say, there are a few pool installers around who have more experience, I just have "general construction" knowledge.

Frame set pool and solar panel

Yes, cutting trees down is my favorite thing. If they are a nuisance, I say knock them. I have one tree right now, a perfect Scarlet Maple, I do like that one, and it stays.

Do pavers around pool sink or shift?

I did my brick paver sidewalk, and I am totally happy with it. But, it is imperative that you get a solid base. That is key, if you dig it out and, and it is spongy, put underlayment under the stone to carry it. You should never skimp on compaction. I used 8" of stone, or more under my...

    Above Ground Pool

Sure you can build it. It just takes some sweat equity and a lot of time. I like the looks of the pool, it appears to have some structural integrity designed into it. Personally I would not go with the Luxury Package though. Depending on the price though I suppose if you wanted the steps...

Do pavers around pool sink or shift?

You will have pavers heaving with frost more readily than any other surface I would say. But if you put down like say 8" of crushed stone, and finished it with sand, plus provided drainage to the stone, then I don't see much problem. The thing about pavers is that if a section does heave, it...

Oval install chrono pictures (2006 - present)

Any closeup deck pics? Or pics of plans? lol, that is about what I want. Everything looks great BTW, the tractor is awesome! Better than a shovel.

    Waterbug's pool

Good job, looks like no wrinkles in the liner. I like the idea of the clamps to hold the sides up too. The deck looks very well made, very clean work. I want one about 12x16 or so, with stairs off the side like yours.

Frame set pool and solar panel

I doubt that the pump would push water up onto a roof. That is alot of head pressure, if I am not mistaken 1 vertical foot is equal to like 10 pounds of head pressure, and I cheap pump probably would not push it.
