Well, I don't know many Mac users. Although, I have worked on a few, and I do find them probably even more intuitive than a windows machine. I would like to run it in Virtual Machine for a while and see if I am really ready to dump $2500 on a laptop or not.

Never heard of that one, but it sounds like a cookie thing. Clear your history and cookies out and try again.

I never use algecide at all, (algecide apparently cannot be spelled correctly). Even if you do get algae, you can shock it out with bleach.

I have an 18' round, and an aqualuminator, and it lights up my pool just fine, it also has lens that can be swapped for a change of mood. The red one is so romantic.

I too have found that I just get a feel for my pool after a while of testing and just begin to add the approximate amount of bleach that I use per day. I will still test, daily, every other day, or maybe every third day. Rarely will I go a week without testing.

Could you just connect a hose to the inlet, and hold it in the air, then dump water in, possibly with a garden hose until it comes out clean. i assume that you would not have it connected to the pool of course, so that it would dump onto the ground.

Checked it again 3 hours later, ph was high, and chlorine was essentially gone. I added about a quart of muratic acid, and another half gallon of chlorine. Will check it hourly from here on out.

Pics aren't there anymore. Although, this same thing could be accomplished by putting a tee and valve in the return line, and using a quick couple with flex hose connected to your contraption that can easily be put in and removed. I don't have the problem of the pool overheating though.
