Depth: 12" They are on a water feature pump so that's as big as they'll get. They are Hayward and no problems whatsoever installing. Each one is plumbed independently to the valve so that they can be fine tuned

Property taxes don't go back to the city they go to the state. That's how it is in California and why construction costs have skyrocketed because cities only make money on the front end not the back end.

I used a magnesium trowel to finish it. Thanks! I'm glad you like it!!

Lame. The city only makes money from construction during the permit phase...but that's pretty excessive

I think Mediterranean would be perfect. I wanted to see the spa the way they chose too. I really liked the squares too but I always like the more artsy stuff

These were taken with my phone. I want to take some with my camera on the tripod so I can get the lights properly exposed without them looking like blobs.

Here's the finished product. My dad may say otherwise but I think it looks pretty good considering I'm not a pro. It took me three days to do all the walls in the sunken bar. My right shoulder and arm were dead by the end. I don't think I'm cut out for plastering on the daily.

Thanks Kim! Ryan - your wall is really short and would be easy. You could easily do it or find someone willing to.

That's how good it is Amy you probably didn't even see the umbrella sleeve hole! He put Aquabright on all of the umbrella sleeve plugs and the drain covers so that everything looks seamless.

Thanks everyone [emoji5] The deck is the same as the coping - hot hot! I'm hoping the two patio covers we build will shade it more. We may also add some sun sails. Matt - the coping is darker than regular concrete but the pictures make it look lighter because it's so bright out. I do think...

Mike and I worked on the decking yesterday and today and we got a huge chunk done. I'd say there is about a quarter left to do
