When should I replace my 150 sqft cartridge filter ?I have cleaned it maybe five or six times and the return pressure is fine and my pool is sparkley but they arent much maybe 100.00 so not to much for once a season.Which was my original idea any thought from others thanks

thanks much I need to get the kit out and check the CYA was 50 last year and all I use is BBB I have ordered a new cartridge this one is a year old and I'v cleaned it a few timesjust wanted to get pretty before I put the new one in.Thanks again will test tomorrow good season to all

Just got open water 77 got in vacuumed pool looks great chlorine around 4or 5 ppm but still a little cloudy.i know better than to ask a ? with out all the numbers but do any of you use a clarifer or flocculant or just BBB

Hello everyone pool is up and running water 75 * Does anyone here know a good way to reduce mosquito problems for nite swimming what has worked bug killers citronella lamps or what ?Its not a heavy infestation at nite just annoying and I like the pool after dark.

Well it turns out that the real problem was that both times I cleaned the filter I forgot to bleed the air out of the filter Now I have full flow again hallelujah Problem solved.Apparently that will really reduce flow

Richard 320 it is still pumping because I still have flow from the return now I can totally stop the flow with my hand on low speed not possible before will get a drain king tomorrow I've never seen either gauge read anything but 0 thanks again

I read a lot on this site about adding salt to the pool to make the water better.I know the indication is that it is an arbitrary thing but could someone elaborate a little.
