    I Use them all the time when making cuts be sure to measure top and bottom to : "square it up" and then you'll have a cutting guide.

    For cutting fixed pvc i like using stainless steel hose clamps 1/2 - 1-1/4 in. Stainless Steel Hose Clamp like this at home Depot and a chop saw for all others.

    I do not have a SWG and use chlorine year round and my local pool store(Pinch A Penny) sells fresh chlorine 10% and i buy 5 gallons at a time@ $18.50 a bargain these days.

    Just following guys, but I'm about 90 miles south of him and my water in the mid upper 50's my guess he's ever colder than that, our air temps for the past 3-4 weeks have been 30 degrees to 55ish, that cell should not be producing.

    Yes, upsize it. I use it primarily for the attached hot tub, I have used it for my 18,000 gal. pool on special occasions and allowed 1-2 day heat time (depending on temperatures air and pool) a solar cover IMA is a must if you want to use it consistently.
