it sounds like you weren't taking the impeller off correctly, but anyway. It sounds like you have to buy a new motor for sure and since you have to buy a new impeller and shaft seal, i would just go ahead and buy a new pump

It is very unlikely that there is a leak and the CH is that high. THe CYA test in my opinion is very subjective, so it is probably just normal variance in testing cya

you can also remove the pump basket lid, put a hose in there turn it on, then turn the pump on for a few seconds. If the water doesnt get sucked down immediately than you more than likely have a clogged impeller

make sure when you check the diaphgram, that you check underneath the plastic ring that is around the base. It is very common for there to be a rip there. What does the filter pressure run at when everything is working fine? Does the vacuum move when you are backwashing? Does water come out...

The pump seal wouldnt cause a suction leak. It is strange that you dont get the air when the valve is open to both lines, since the suction leak is obviously coming from both lines. My guess would be that the flex lines have something to do with it. Are they glued?

The suction line isn't clogged if you have 20psi. It sounds like the diaphragm has a rip in it. There is a yellow or white rubber piece inside of the vacuum. You need to disassemble the vacuum. This is incredibly simple. There is just a few things to unscrew by hand.

it is gunite. The pool is empty right now. Would putting the tablet on the stain be more effective than pouring liquid on it and letting that sit? the only reason i ask is because i have already tried letting liquid chlorine sit on it
