Latham Vinyl liner base colors that are blue.

I couldn’t find anything there either. Looks like you’ll have to contact them directly. After looking at their selection I’d venture a guess the blue hues would be blue-based.

No It is NOT the (Intex) SWG Cell! No, it is not a "broken" (Intex) SWG unit. It's just a little corrosion.

I finally got around to taking my old Intex unit apart and it’s in near pristine condition. Clearly, there’s something wrong somewhere so I’m pulling all the connections and reseating them. Slight pitting on the screw heads but bright and shiny underneath, including the backside of the screws...

    Killing heavy algae

Sorry for multiple posts. If there’s heavy accumulation scoop out as much as you can to save sucking it through your filter.

    Killing heavy algae

You’ll be cleaning the filters until the SLAM is complete. It’s a process and not a one time quick fix. If it’s as bad as you indicate it may take weeks to clear. Fortunately, your in the low UV period which will help. Follow the process as much as you can. It works.

    Drain first or SLAM

Yes. UV always plays a role in FC degradation so that has to be taken into effect. It’s hard to say with any degree of certainty what the exact loss is by UV and nasties. If you have no visible algae but are still experiencing FC loss overnight that means the algae is hiding somewhere. You...

Raccoons using pool edge/pump as party place

In my experience this is the only non-lethal method that works. The sooner you do it the better else the behavior is passed on to successive generations.

    Drain first or SLAM

Algae is not visible until it is. My water was clear but when I removed my ladder and took it apart I found algae throughout the apparatus. That was the culprit causing my OCLT failures. Once cleaned and reinstalled I passed OCLT several times before calling the SLAM complete.

Concerned About Water on Pool Cover – First-Time Pool Owner

One minor modification to firmly attach the bucket lid and she hummed away. Made very short work of the drainage. All these tips and tricks are worth their weight in gold. The best part? Didn’t cost me a penny. Put the work bonus to good use this year. 😉

Concerned About Water on Pool Cover – First-Time Pool Owner

I don’t plan on leaving it out during any potential freezes. I do find the auto shutoff a nice feature because I really don’t wish to babysit it this weekend. Online 15% coupon materialized for this. 👍

There certainly is an amount of work involved being a pool owner. You have the options you already listed. You can either do the work now or do it later. It will likely worsen and will require more time, chemicals, and effort later.
