i poured mine straight in. some say u can put it in some pantyhoes and set iy in the skimmer. if you do it that way u cant backwash for like a week b/c some might be in the filter. i would go ahead and put the bleach in now as well there no reason not to..... its ok to put both in at the same time!!

the perma salt system doesnt sanitize. people on here are talking about only buying P.S. chemicals and thats it. u have to also sanitize your pool or your gonna be swimming in every persons body dirt/oils... disgusting!!!!!! i would deff. start putting in a sanitizer!!!!!!!!!!!! hello!.... usually the cheap algaecides make the foam.(when using algaecides i would reccomend polyquat60) also algaecides are mostly used to PREVENT algae. if u already have algae then it would be pointless to use at this point. i would reccomend shocking your pool.. (shocking is a process)...
