I am a fan of the J and J bulbs. I've had the spa bulb for 3 years - and the pool bulb now for only a couple of months. I turn my pool lights on every night from just about dark to 10:30, so they get a lot of burn time. Pleased so far.

Your equipment "pad" - typically the term used for where the pool pump is located. This may be out by the pool, in a building, etc.
