If the heater throws an SFS error before the blower runs and the heater starts, the Stack Flue Sensor is bad. Stack Flue Sensors on fairly new heaters are being reported as failing. Get another SFS.

First tip: If you clean the cell with acid every few months, you are reducing its life span. Read SWG How It Works - Further Reading to learn the proper methods of cleaning a cell if it needs it. My guess is you need a new cell.

Your expectations for what the SWG will do for you are too high. Use liquid chlorine to set a FC level and use the SWG to maintain th3 FC level. It is always good to have some liquid chlorine on hand should you find your FC low.
