I have two. I'll take a look tonight.

The only thing worth noting is that if you pair them, then all 4 will be dedicated to one zone. I have a ~$300 Sony amp that I use to power 3 zones. Pool, patio, and living room. In the long run for me it was worth the extra money for the flexibility. Obviously then you need more Connect players.

On the curve point, is there any chance anyone could hit that from a jump? It looks really nice and adds character but could be a huge pain point (pun intended). I'm sure you've thought about it but better to check before you got any further.

It depends on the ohm ratings. It could be done if the speakers are paired in 2 and the ohm ratings still work. I believe 8ohm speakers will work when paired (4 total) into the Connect: Amp but 4ohm speakers will require more power than the amp can deliver.

    Outdoor step lighting on Deck?

We used Hampton bay, the Home Depot brand. Same lights as Singuy. They have a sturdy metal pole base and look much nicer than what they cost.

    Outdoor step lighting on Deck?

Keep calling for quotes. Perhaps a landscaper that can do it? We just paid about 2k for 2 transformers (cheaper than kichler), 10 path lights, 7 uplights (~200 feet of wiring) and tied into our automation. I think we got a good deal as we got other higher quotes, but still 2k seems like a lot...

    What's your current pool temp?

88 degrees here in south Florida with no heater. It's not even that hot here yet. I actually wish the pool temp was a bit cooler.

    Using a PB in Vegas

Be happy it's not green! It looks great. Plaster color and water color look similar to mine during fill. Best of luck!

South Florida Pool & Outdoor Living - STARTUP PHASE

The color I always wanted was Diamond Brite Agean Sea, a water color mix of French grey and a dark blue. But my PB and finish company strongly advised me against dye based Quartz aggregate due to imperfections and fading over time. As for my returns, we specifically requested grey fittings for...

    New Northeastern Pa Build

Here I am! Yes I would definitely recommend using the plaster/Quartz aggregate rather than grout. It guarantees a consistent finish. But if you do choose to go grout, go with something that is a close match to your finish (White, light grey, blue, etc). Our PB originally used dark grey grout...

Jimim, have you seen Steve's build? He has DB Super Blue and it looks great. After acid wash it looked like a grey base. Water color is so nice. Pearland Fall/ Winter Build Pearland Fall/ Winter Build

    Outdoor TV help please

The only thing I would suggest is plan out viewing angles. Even under our covered patio, our led tv has a ton of glare in the late afternoon when the sun is lower. Aside from the life of the tv being shorter in the elements, the glare is really the only other downside.

    Outdoor TV help please

Yea the outdoor tvs are so expensive. Definitely go with a standard. I just picked up a Vizio 4K 70" for $650 last Black Friday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Using a PB in Vegas

Ours is a Quartz based aggregate as well. It's from premix marbletite's Marquis series in Sapphire color. It is a white based cement with blue stones. Similar to diamond brite super blue and Florida gem blue gem. Then we added black. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I always wanted a grey plaster. For a lot of reasons we went white with added black stones. It got as close as you could get without going grey. You can see pics here: South Florida Pool & Outdoor Living - STARTUP PHASE South Florida Pool Outdoor Living - STARTUP PHASE I am happy with it...

Thanks. Would it make sense that 7 of 8 of my jets are getting almost zero flow/pressure? Does the plumbing work in such a way that if jet 2 was blocked then all others beyond that would be? Or would all 7 need to have some blockage to experience our issue? I'm not losing any water so...

Re: South Florida Pool & Outdoor Living - STARTUP PHASE Ah ok. So then those must be inside the pvc. If so, I couldn't reach them by hand from outside the spa. I'll have to jump in later and take a closer look. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Brian what do you mean by tees? Is that the white part attached to the fitting in the picture below? Or are the tees inside the pvc pipe after I take the return and housing out? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've come across some other threads on this site with similar issues after a refinish. All for the threads go dark though without any documented resolution. They all seem to suggest a blockage though. I've noticed and removed a couple handfuls of plaster from my pump basket so it doesn't seem...

South Florida Pool & Outdoor Living - STARTUP PHASE

I fired up the bubblers and spa today to make sure everything is working well. Sure enough the spa has almost no pressure. At first when I opened the Venturi jets to try to get some air flow, they started to overflow with water. It seemed like some sort of blockage. The jets closest to the pvc...
