Helping a relative with his setup. Somehow all of his programming was deleted. I corrected all of that and have everything working again from the APP. They have an attached spa to the pool and the one item I could not get to work is the Jandy heater. For some reason I am not able to adjust the temp from the phone or change it when in the spa from the phone. You have to walk to the side of the house to adjust it.

I know I am not giving a lot of details but wanted to at least get the conversation started. I did not have this issue with my heater or the one before my current one so scratching my head.

I can capture screen shots from the app as for I have access to his pool since I was the one that set it all up after the hard reset or whatever happened.

What controller is on the side of the house that controls the heater temp?

What model heater?

How are the heater controls wired to the Aqualink?

Show us pics of the equipment and connections.

OK I plan to head over in the next cpl weeks. Can get picks and details when I do. Wanted to see if yall had ideas I could check.

I was just now able to circle back to this. I checked the control on the heater and put it in remote mode that did not help. They ran a 4 wire control wire to the aqualink control center just like mine.

At this time the only way to turn on the heater and control it is to walk to the side of the house to make those changes at the heater itself.

Am I missing a setting in the App? I do not recall where there is a setting for heater.

Can you show print screens from what you see on the app?

BTW: You are better off not using the 4-wire connection and instead just using the "fireman's switch".

See "Temp1" and "Temp2" on the below. This turns my heater on/off.

I will check and see what it shows but I did my own setup here at my hosue and my screens do not look like that at all. I do not have anything for temp under VSP

This was all done by a pool builder and has never worked. I am thinking about having him remove the control wire from the heater to see what happens.

Just FYI - Green does not call for heat, red does. Your pool temp is 81. What is your set temp? As pictured, your heater will not turn on.
Correct as mentioned it does nothing. I set it to 100 and it did nothing but turn green. I will have to figure out where the firemans switch (loop) is on that heater and change over to that. But I might run a new control wire first to make sure its not just the wire.

I did see they have a bunch of control wires tied together with wire nuts. Where I have all of mine going to the connector itself.

What did you set at 100? The heater itself? What I am saying is Aqualink is not configured correctly. You need to go to the screen for "set temp" and increase the temperature.

What does this screen say?

Thats what I did and set it to 100 and still green light. I use iaqualike daily so I understand how to use it.

Oh ok I got it. I think the problem is on the Aqualink side and not the heater side. You don't have solar priority on or something do you? And it is not set for a heat pump is it?

If you click "heat pump" it should tell you that you don't have one. HP and Solar priority should both say, "N/A".
