Nautilus Dolphin CC Plus stops moving after a couple minutes, bubbles

Took off the cover, removed a couple leaves from under there, but no other visible debris. There's damage to the cord, see pic, but other than that, not sure what the problem could be.

Just order a new cord or are there other things I should check first? It'll run for a couple minutes, climb a wall, go back down, etc, but then just sits in place bubbling as if it's trying to sink itself.

Thanks!

Clear the impeller if there is debris.
No luck - there was some hair around it I cleaned out, put it back in, same deal -- runs for a very short while, usually bubbling the whole way, then eventually just stops and keeps bubbling in place.

Maybe I need to fully disassemble it, but I was able to clean the stuff out by getting my fingers under the impeller area and pulling the hair out. I don't see/feel anything else.

Sometimes there is alot around the post of the impeller that you can’t see unless you remove the impeller. Also check the tracks for debris and wear. They are kinda like tires and need to be replaced every few years

Took it apart again, found one more leaf in the tracks, took that out, threw it back in the pool -- went for about a minute, down to the deep end, seemed to get stuck, pulled it back to the shallow end, kept working for another minute or so, then parked itself there and keeps bubbling.

Mine did the same thing for awhile. After about a week of messing with it trying to figure out the problem it totally died! Will not move at all! I tried a different cord and a different power supply but neither helped. In the end I deducted that the motor had died. Not sure how old it is since I bought it new in June 2021 but had to send it in in July 2023 for a warranty repair. I received back a refurbished unit that looked like it had been through heck and back! That unit died in July of 2024. I am currently looking for a new unit and am ready to pull the trigger on the EVO614IQ

I'm kinda in the same boat right now. I think I've checked off everything but the damage to the power cord being a problem -- and if that's not the cause, then it probably has to be the motor that's shot.

Also looking at the EVO614IQ. Was hoping it would be a simple fix but losing faith.
