Did any charge for your order go through from any company name?
Did you call the company to ask what's up?
James, it's a bit of a saga but I'll try and summarize it from the start.
I attempted to order a cell on the CP website, payment method was paypal.
I never got an order confirmation or any notification at all. Paypal was showing no transaction either. I figured maybe there is a bug in their ordering system.
I sent CP an email about it on their customer support email address. I never heard back from them whiich I thought strange becaues when I bought the CIrcupool System originally, it was from the CP website and they were on the ball. No problems at all.
I finally went to DSP because I needed a cell asap. At the time of the CP troubles, I didn't know about DSP or that they are related to CP or Pace, and ordered a new cell, paid by debit card on
3/20.
At that point, as far as I was concerned all was well. In the event I received another cell from CP, well I would just have one for down the road. If not, well thats ok too.
So on
3/26 my bank notified me of the attempt and the Bank System denied payment to Poobids
Im not gonna do any more follow up on it. It's proably some bug on the CP system. I guess theres also a slight possibility that PayPal had a glitch too.
All of the above seems sensible to me. The head scratcher part, is that I put in the order iwth CP using PayPal and that transaction never went through, so if Paypal never went through, how did Poolbids end up with my card number? I dont really want to know... just sayin.
I'm very happy with DSP, they've been great! I'll use them from now on and chalk up the CP folks in Houston as a learning experience.
