Hello everyone!
I'm excited to join this incredible community! I'm in my late 30s, originally from Belgium, and have been living and working in the U.S. for the past 12 years. I've officially made Las Vegas my primary home since October. My spouse and I purchased our Vegas home with a pool, while we also still own a home in Lake Tahoe, where we enjoy spending time—especially during winter for skiing. We're also considering adding an above-ground spa to our Tahoe home, so the knowledge and experience I gain here will be beneficial for managing both the pool and potentially the spa.
I've never owned or managed a pool before, but I've quickly found that maintaining water chemistry is a fascinating and surprisingly enjoyable hobby in itself. Because I work from home and travel quite a bit for business, we are keping a weekly pool service. However, being naturally meticulous, it soon became clear that no one would pay as much attention to our pool water as I would.
Outside of pool care, I enjoy hiking, skiing, and relaxing with movies. My spouse and I share our home with two wonderful indoor cats (no kids), who thankfully haven't shown much interest in swimming!
The quality and depth of resources available on Trouble Free Pool and the associated forum have truly impressed me. I can't wait to keep learning, share experiences, and hopefully contribute back to this amazing community as I sharpen my pool management skills.
