what kind of a soak time with the vinegar? I do not want to use acid. my buddy does that with his new unit and I dont have his cash reserves

Soak time should be only long enough to remove the scale...if you decide to use vinegar.what kind of a soak time with the vinegar? I do not want to use acid. my buddy does that with his new unit and I dont have his cash reserves

Your CSI is consistently negative...I'd be surprised you have scale. Post up the amount of scale you have when you inspect.
Will do after a trip next week. Had no build up and then a week ago noticed some white. Will do a full clean. filter pump basket and cell.Soak time should be only long enough to remove the scale...if you decide to use vinegar.

Does not look too bad. Coming off easily with wood skewer. Never showed any signs till I raised calcium over fear of gas heater. First cleaning since install. That's sitting pretty not much of anything to worry about. Some vinegar will take care if it.
