Hi Ya'll! Needing to add chlorine to my pool when the temps are too cold for my SWG.

Which is best to use -- liquid chlorine or chlor bite quick dissolving concentrated chlorinating granular?

I've read that liquid chlorine can become less effective when stored. I also don't love that the bottle looks exactly like my muriatic acid bottle.

(BTW, my pool tech, who helped me learn to clean the DE filter, already suggested that I store the acid and chlorine in different places.)

I've also read that the chlorine granules may contain stabilizer, which I'd rather manage. independently.

So, with the pros and cons, what do ya'll use? I really only need to add chlorine for about 2-3 months in the winter, when my SWG shuts off.

Thanks!

Chlorbrite will raise your FC and raise your CYA. Your CYA is already 70.

Use liquid chlorine.

If you need CYA and you know how much the Chlorbrite will add with your addition, no reason not to use it then.
