VL100 Century WiFi link for VGreen 165

I see a few articles about connectivity of this device and comments from months back that the Support team said there was a global issue with back end servers, resolution of which is unclear. I also note, after checking just now for the first time in over a year, that the VL100 is still in very short supply. Does Regal Beloit still make the device?

Can't tell from their site and info is very scarce. After finding one in stock but having read all the wifi connectivity issues I opted to abandon my purchase until I can get more information. Also saw other articles about alternative programming interface capabilities but I'm not sure all this is worth the effort just for phone control of the pump. Any thoughts appreciated.
 
There were some threads a while back where VL100 users commented that they received notices that the Vlink servers were being shut down so the Vlink controller is no longer a viable alternative for controlling a Vgreen 165 motor.

If you really want remote control of the pump without a full automation system the Vgreen 165 can be enabled to talk Jandy’s protocol, then a Jandy IQ Pump01 controller can be used to control the motor.

You do have to do a little bit of configuring of the Vgreen 165 if you want to go this route, here’s a thread that describes what’s required to enable the Jandy protocol.

Yes, Regal Beloit has discontinue the VLink VL100 service and the device no longer works. I change over to a Jandy IQ Pump01 controller back in the spring of 2024. There is a little work to do to configure the pump to work with the Jandy controller, but its doable. Here's the thread that I follow to get it working,
