Ours is getting near it's final end...looking to replace it by next season. TeddyBear only has 52" skimmer slats....
a) Is there somewhere out there that would possibly have 48" skimmer slats?
b) do you think 52" could be cut by 4" on the bottom and work from Teddy Bear Pools? Would that work for any slat (just in case when we replace liner, there are other suprises)?

Slat has been through the ringer. Just took ownership of this house, first summer with the pool. Other than this slat and skimmer, everything else seems to be in good shape from the naked eye. Liner is nearing it's end, but its held up great this summer.
