I have a slide I have added to our pool, I’ve just been hooking up the hose to it to run it for my kids. Obviously it adds water to the pool so I have to watch the levels and drain when I need to keep it but it is also diluting little by little. There is PVC coming out where the equipment is. It has a valve on it. I have no idea what it is for. Maybe it was there for another accessory at one point? I have opened it up and played with it and no water is coming out of it. On floor four but obviously, therefore something right? I also have all the original paperwork for the can’t find that it was put there for something. I have attached two pictures showing where the pipe is.

Show a picture of the return plumbing at the equipment pad.
Given the size of the reducer on the pipe it could be a connection for a pressure side cleaner pump.
Do you have a return to the pool that is different from the others? Is it nearer the water line then the other returns in the pool?
You have opened the valve, but did you put a water hose or air down it to see if it came out the other side?

All the returns to the pool are same. It’s at the same spot as everything else. When I turn the valve when the pump is running at its highest, a tiny amount of water will splash out of it. But maybe a cup full at most.

OK thanks. Interesting that some water spurts out when pump on high speed. Is it a steady stream? Show a picture of the entire equipment pad and also the return plumbing. Maybe we can figure it out.

This picture shows that you have a booster pump. Is this for a pressure side cleaner?
Since the closed PVC pipe is near the suction side, I am wondering if it was for a suction vacuum line.
I would get a leaf blower or a wet vac (set for blowing out) and put it to that pipe to see if there are bubbles in your pool.
