My filter is not priming. I have a Pentair Superflo VST pump DE filter. The pump starts with no error codes and appears to be running with no issues, except there's no water coming through. I can hear the water that put in the tank sloshing around, so it's definitely doing something. It honestly feels like everything is fine and all the jandy handles are closed on the suction side. (Not the issue obviously, but that's what it feels like.)
Here's what I've tried so far:
- I used the wet dry vac on the end cap at the suction side with no issues. I'm able to get water out of the suction side.
- Greased the o-ring on the strainer basket lid
- filled the strainer basket and half the tank. It pushes that water out and then doesn't pull anything through.
- Removed a jandy handle from the push side and saw water attempt to come through, which leads me to believe no issues on that side.
- separated the motor from the basket and replaced and Greased the large O-ring around the propeller
I'm completely flummoxed because I've had various bad o-rings or loose screws or air leaks or etc.... in previous openings and I've never had this problem getting zero water through. They've just caused air bubbles or small leaks.
