Mad at myself
I'm day 8 into the SLAM and while where I'm at seems slow progress, from where I started was fairly bad so I'm being patient.
I work at home and have been very good at checking levels every 2-3 hours and adding liquid chlorine.
I got my TF-PRO test kit 5/22. Right away, adjusted my pH to 7.2 and over the next 3-4 days got my CYA up to around 45 with the sock method all the while regularly testing FC and adding what Pool Math told me to add.

Somehow I forgot that I wasn't supposed to touch the pH and tested it. Thinking it was now 8 I added about a half gallon of muriatic acid to the pool.
I have some PoolTime pH Up in my garage that's been sitting there quite awhile. Do I add some of that? Do something else?

Whats the pH and FC now? Dont do anything if the pH is 7.something.

FC is 18 and the comparator block reads 7.2 for the pH, however, I was concerned after reading here that pH measurement is unreliable at high FC that I erroneously added the muriatic acid and the pH may actually be lower than that. I should point out that I'm also a newb to this 😂.

Its probably a tiny bit lower than 7.2 but if your TA is at least 50ppm the pH should rise on its own. If check the share button in lool math, itll share your test records on the forum.

OK. TA is very high right now at 160. I was planning on dealing with that after the SLAM.
That's great to know about the logs ------> PoolMath Logs
I've been brushing and vacuuming, but not logging that. I probably should.
Thanks much for your help, I won't worry too much about the pH.

Check the box in the settings and the logs automatically shared. At TA of 170 your pH is probably going up as we speak.
