I have a Hayward super pump 1hp that has become very noisy, at times is sounds like something is grinding inside. Is there anything I can do to correct the noise? Also if I was or need to replace the pump should get the same pump is there a better Hayward I can use.

Grinding could be a sign the bearings are getting worn. Do you have a YouTube channel to which you could upload a short clip and post the link back here so we can see it?
Also post some pics of the pump and motor you have now. Labels and any markings can help us guide you in a replacement.

That appears to be an older single speed motor. Very possible the bearings are starting to fail. You don't want a motor like that today. While it may be possible to replace that motor with a comparable variable speed motor and attach it to the old wet end of the pump, you might just be better off purchasing a completely new pump with one of today's variable speed motors already attached. The VSP prices are more reasonable now than they were say 8-10 years ago. You just need to be sure of the voltage you have available at the pad and do a little plumbing (PVC) work.
I believe the pump is from 2008. I moved to this house in 2011 and haven’t changed it since so I believe it’s original. I suspected it was the bearings so you probably are right.
I was thinking of changing everything on the pad, filter, pump and valves.
Is there specifics i should look for in a Vsp pump like certain horsepower?
