The cell starts up for 1-3 seconds and turns off. I sent a picture of it starting up then off. Fuse is good and light is green in power supply areas. Any suggestions on why it is turning immediately off. Was working fine.

Jo,

That cell has to be about a million years old!!!

If the Power Center is good, then the cell has to be bad, or the cable has an open somewhere.

The S/N label on the bottom of the cell should have a mfg. date, but my guess is it is at least 10 years old.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Hello Jim. On its 14th year. Always took care of it and was working great. Is the cell definitely shot if it starts up and then right off? Thank you.

Jo,

The cell gets 30 to 40 Volts DC from the Power Center.. Everything in the cell runs off of that same voltage.

Inside the cell, it has voltage regulators that changes the voltage to do certain functions.. One of them is to power the electronics that make all the lights work.

So either the cell is bad or the voltage from the power center is faulty.. At 14 years, my guess would be the cell. But if you have a voltmeter you can measure the DC voltage as it comes out of the power center , if you wish.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Looking at the 2 images, the Flow light is Red. As old as it is, it could shut off without enough flow of water through the cell. But go with what Jim said.
