Hello. Just joined and seeking some help. Bought a home with a fiberglass pool. The light is a “PAL 2000” that would color change and stopped working. I’d like to see if it’s just a bulb out or if I need to replace the entire unit. The cover snaps off and there’s a thin threaded ring that screwed on to a black gasket of sorts. Both are cracked. Can anyone tell me how to remove the light? Is it a 1/4 turn or? I don’t want to start prying on stuff and have an issue. There is pvc conduit at the deck that goes in to a junction box then back down. I am guessing it goes to the “Intermatic” electrical box near the filter and service panel. Probably to step down voltage to 12v. Any help
On the removal process or a replacement or if it does have a niche is appreciated.
