It's a double edged sword. The FC and gunk battle it out but you need the FC to start the process. The chlorine will lighten the swamp a little helping you see more crud. Get to SLAMing once the FC holds and priority 1-a is removing the crud. There are literally FEET of leaves, hay, and worms in the bottom. Should I be focused on getting all of that out first? Am I just wasting chlorine with all of that organic matter in there? I’m working on getting it out between tests.
Scoop blind where you need to and do your best to maintain a pattern. With enough tries, you'll get it all. I watched mine go from green to cloudy in front of me when the last scoop came out. It had lightened enough that I finally saw the last part I'd missed and BOOM. Like flipping a switch.
