Looking for recommendations in our specific situation for pool heaters for our new pool. We are in the northeast and are having a 24' round pool installed April 24. At 4 feet deep, I'm estimating 13,500 gallons. Any specific recommendations for quality pool heaters are appreciated!

Electric
We have solar panels, so that would help keep energy costs down.
May need to upgrade electric panel (100A currently with sub panel)
I know electric is slower to heat the pool vs gas.
Smaller trench dug, save money not needing a plumber.
Cousin is a master electrician, cheapest labor option (we always take care of family, and vice versa)

Gas
We have natural gas (heat) but my plumber thinks we may need to upsize our boiler unit if we go with a natural gas heater.
Also, trenching up the driveway will cost $3k, and will almost certainly cause water issues in the driveway... OR we could run the gas line through basement and out the back, which would cost probably $1500, and then I would need a wide trench dug through out patio to separate electric and gas.
Faster to heat
More maintenance long term

I appreciate any and all advice
