Return Jets Placement in Heated pool

Hello everyone, I'm in the midst of constructing my first pool and planning to use it with a heat pump. I'm considering the optimal placement for the return jets, particularly in relation to water temperature dynamics. Would positioning the jets closer to the bottom be more effective, given that warmer water tends to rise?

Regarding the pool's size, it's a rectangular shape 7.5m x 3.5m and 1.5m depth. My current plan includes 4 return jets on one of the short sides and 2 skimmers on the opposite side. Any insights or experiences with similar setups would be greatly appreciated!

It will not make a big difference. If the returns are wall mounted you need the pool circulation to distribute the heat regardless of where the returns are positioned.

I have seen returns placed around the floor of the pool that may help spread the warm water from the returns more evenly around the pool.

It will take the pool circulation to move the warm water throughout the pool from the wall where the returns are.

Why aren't you putting the returns and skimmers on the long sides of the pool for better coverage of the area?

Are the skimmers positioned to be into the prevailing winds?

Is this a residential or commercial pool?

That was my initial idea, but the equipment supplier I'm working with actually suggested this layout. I also considered putting the returns near every corner and skimmers along both long sides, as I feel it would be ideal for circulating the water. However, since I'm using a heat pump, I figured it might be better to have all the returns on one side. This should mean less piping and, hopefully, less heat loss. I live in an area where we'll use the heat pump nearly the whole season, and in my situation, the pump has to be set up a bit farther away than recommended - about 15 to 18 meters instead of 10 meters. So, I went with the layout that uses fewer pipes. I'm still unsure, though, about how those extra meters might affect the pump's efficiency and whether it's a big deal or not.

The current layout with four returns on one side is fairly optimal. While the prevailing wind direction isn't directly aligned with that particular wall. I think positioning a skimmer on the long wall near the corner should also work. My only concern is that there's a bench along that wall and whether installing a skimmer there is actually a good idea or not

This is going to be a residential pool.
