Drain pool using pump but the Polaris booster pump is activated when the main pump goes above a certain RPM. Will this damage the booster pump?

. I liked the SWG but just figured I could buy a lot of tabs for what I was spending on a new cell every 3 years.
Oh no. Not by a mile. An oversized SWG replacement cell will produce FC at up to 8X less than purchasing chlorine, depending on the form, strength and price fluctuations.

A RJ60+ replacement cell is $800 and would produce FC at about 7 cents per FC. *with me conservatively estimating a 10k life and not the 15k they advertise. Cutting their claims by 1/3 produces FC at *7 cents per FC*. The best you'll do with bulk tabs on sale is about 50 cents per FC. And each tab will raise your CYA by 2.8, so you'll be draining often.

I saw the TFTestKits.net site. Is there an add on for my Taylor that would cover CYA or do you recommend replacing with one of their kits?
Tft sells individual kit components (as does Amazon, etc).

You'll need the CYA kit, the CH kit, the salt kit and the Fas/Dpd kit as add ons to complete your kit. Depending on the age, your existing supplies may be expiring soon.

I cannot reccomed the TFpro salt enough. The TFpro has better supplies for how we do things, and includes a $44 stirrer that you want badly, for the same price as the comp K2006C. The salt version adds the $30 salt test for only $20, making it an even better deal.
