Jandy CV460 filter half union compatibility?

Having to replace the plumbing from new pump to filter (Jandy CV460). Is the tailpiece on the old Jandy filter union compatible with something else? (sorry, probably a stupid question). Just trying to to avoid having to replace with the Jandy half-union part since it's painfully slow to get here and I was hoping to wrap this project up. Don't really want to glue everything only to discover it's going to leak. Didn't know if the threading on the bulkhead exterior on the filter is proprietary or if it would work with the high temp unions I have on hand.

Jandy unions are proprietary threads. You need to pay the Jandy tax.
 
Thanks. That's what I was afraid of. I've got the threaded pieces, just not the tailpiece since it's glued into the PVC. Just didn't know if it was more universal than the threaded pieces. I'll try epoxy on the cracked PVC while I wait for the Jandy replacement.
