Hello all

I recently got my pool resurfaced with stonescape &the guys said Icould fill the pool with multiple hoses as long as they are clean and dont bounce around. but everything ive read later said hoses should all be together in the deep end so it doesnt cure at different times but of course they were not.
Now that the water has been filled for about 14 days i noticed the discoloration where the water was running down to the deep end.
Any ways to get rid of it or is it permanently lighter now or is it a chemical problem still doing the start up

NPC will be coming sometime next week to take a look with the pool company.

So sorry to see this issue. It is great that mfg. will send out a rep to look at it with the PB.
They may recommend an acid wash . The downside to an acid wash is that is removes a surface layer and could shorten the life of the plaster.

It is clear that the plaster installer should not have stated to add multiple hoses unless they were all in the deep end. Water will always migrate to the deepest part. Let us know what the inspector states is the best course of action.

They came out and said it was scale that probably formed the first week and that the weird pattern attached to where the acid had run off down to the drain. He used jack magics copper &scale#2 to test a spot and it cleared back to blue after 5 mins So i have to use that and the magenta stuff and it should be gone in a week. So now i have a game plan and hope it works
